Extremities Restricted Would Upset Me If Limited
Because I am blessed with vision.
I am more inclined to believe what I see,
Than what I hear with my own ears.
Because I do have a sense of touch.
I'd rather feel than have described to me,
What it is to experience that which I can hold.
Because I have a heart,
Sometimes in conflict with my mind...
I still find most times a connection I can define.
And blessed I am to have legs with feet,
I can choose to use them...
To come to go from inside to outside as I please.
To have any of my extremities restricted,
Would upset me if limited.
Especially if I am convinced their movement is mine.
I have been spoiled with these blessings.
And to sit and procrastinate,
Would be a waste of abilities as if I could stop time.
Yes I have been oppressed with a suppression that tests.
But I will not let that undo the best of me...
To allow what is believed to prevent my forward steps.
