Excited By Old Rhetoric
They have grown accustomed to accuse,
The one who currently leads...
As campaigning to keep his job.
And he should stay in his place,
To fix their problems that have created.
And...
In the saying of this to solicit sympathies,
They are hoping people forget.
And agree with their embellished assessments.
As they campaign to sit in his position.
The very same position where for years they sat.
Deceiving as petty thieves,
To feed until a collapsing brought everyone to their knees.
With a 'fixing' before new leadership arrived,
To sink in their teeth to take another bite.
Out of the pockets of those excited by old rhetoric.
'And I promise you...
Unlike the present incompetent leadership,
You can count on me doing this...
There will be no new taxes.
Imposed on anyone including the rich.
And those hungry and homeless,
Will be guaranteed a chicken to cook...
In pots owned by their masters.
And the white picket fences,
Safe guarding their plantations...
They can paint as they whistle while they work.'
