Even While Sitting On The Shore
Why should I not want to share with you,
Your point of view?
Why would I not wish to hear what your eyes see?
Or feel what is in your heart to reveal?
Why should I not wish with you to connect?
When only you can describe the soil felt under your feet.
When only you have been touched by winds of fragrant breezes...
When I sometimes may choose to sit alone in a funk!
Why should I not want to share with you,
Your point of view?
My life is not always narrowly perspective.
Or retrospectively reflective.
I often wonder about you.
I do!
Even while sitting on the shore,
To observe low tides.
