Earnestly

Yes I am stubborn.
And have suffered the consequences,
From my thick headedness.
And admitting it makes little sense.

But...

One day I am going to awaken,
And not justify my ignorance.
I find that contradicting and too conflicting...
When my own restrictions offend.

Yet since I do reflect upon it and it hasn't happened,
Why does it seem others make attempts...
To try and deny me the right to learn,
From my own experiences?

If I choose to be a fool,
At least allow me to do it earnestly.
Afterall,
I have proven I 'am' conscious about it.
