Dragged Behind Them In Sacks

It is difficult to accept,
A restructuring of beliefs.
Especially when those beliefs,
Were thought to be cemented...
In concrete.
But the crumbling of foundations,
As seen are no longer rumored.

And the ones once reprimanded,
By pointing out their observations...
Seem not to be the ones running,
Seeking to find safe shelter...
To protect their pretentions.
Or denials dragged behind them in sacks,
As kept evidence of their loyalty and devotion.
