Don't Say That Too Loudly

What on 'Earth' are they doing,
With their shovels below?
And doing it in such a frantic pace.

'Trying their best to escape from reality.
And hoping they will chase the effects away.'

By digging themselves into a deeper hole?

'Sssshhh.
Don't say that too loudly.
They will isolate you in a minute.
Hearing anything connected to the truth,
Will immediately offend them.'

Oh?
Our feet are up here and placed on solid ground.
And I should have fears they will isolate 'me'?

'Don't say another word.
Let them stick to their beliefs.
Who knows,
What a digging deeper in complete darkness...
Will eventually to them teach.'

Well...
Maybe one day they will see the forest,
AND the trees.

'At the pace that they are keeping? '

Comeon.
Don't be so negative.

'Trust me...
If I had not been observant and optimistic,
I'd too would have had a shovel custom made.
With a bragging done of how my credit was 'A' rated.'

Well...
Maybe one day they will see the forest,
AND the trees.

'At the pace that they are keeping?
They will never get to see a picture of it.'

Sssshhh.
Don't say that too loudly.
Logic is not what they are pursuing.

'Well...
I don't want to lose any I have left.
You stay and watch them.
I have other things to do.'
