Defending It As a Standard to Uphold

Prolonged injections of defective expectations.
With the acceptance of feeding greed to proceed,
As one's comfort.
Has made a mockery of discipline.

And defaced respect as a means to expose weakness.
To leave what has been left to market as a worth,
That has become valueless.
And defending a uselessness as a standard to uphold.

With a consciousness remaining yet to be examined.
But then again...
Aren't those the judgements passed,
By those thought competent and believed to be intelligent.
