Crippled Without Insight
You may have made attempts to ruin my life...
But in the interim,
You have not escape the affects of my pain.
You may have placed an unconscious judgement.
That rubs against you,
With aches and stains.
Why you have selected me to be your pet to pick...
With unwise decisions that affects your life,
Wrap in a mental illness...
That physically makes you sick.
Is beyond my comprehension.
And in the interim,
I have adjusted to witness your wickedness!
I tried to get through to you before your activities began!
But you wouldn't hear it.
And undercover you decided to take an ignorant stand!
I am not guided by your slide into darkness!
I wanted to share a happiness I found in 'light'.
But the brightness of it...
You believed had been artificially lit!
And now you remain,
Crippled without insight...
By your own limitations gained,
Through a maintained and deceptive wit.
With your own misdeeds stinging and burning.
Inside of your confining mind day and night,
With a dimming of a life...
You thought would reward,
After an appetite fed on spite.
Beating you into submission,
In a prolonging unwanted visit!
Occupying your peace,
With an unkindness now you find disliked.
I am not guided by your slide into darkness!
I wanted to share a happiness I found in 'light'.
But the brightness of it...
You believed had been artificially lit!
And now you remain,
Crippled without insight...
By your own limitations gained that grip,
To choke your offspring conceived.
And their siblings in self destructive fits.
