Credited In Bad Debits

Accumulating wealth,
At someone else's expense...
Is a crime.
One with a selfishness of mind,
Has become oblivious to it.

Those who whine against this,
Believe their interests...
Has been to take from others.
In a declaration,
To stake as their claim.
Dedicated to steal...
As a birthright to aim.
With unconscious druthers...
Smothered in a pampered,
Selfcenteredness condoned.

To blame,
And...
Have no shame!
Nor guilt explicit if needs of greed,
Become limited.

Although they wish to be stimulated with...
A fragmented way of life they can not resist.
One that has hit an economic abyss...
Far and much distanced from a stolen bliss.
They alone wrecked with theft and havoc.

With demands continuing to exist,
To supplement an undeniable ending...
Persistent with a reality that dismisses,
Their addicted temper fits.

And fantasized delusions...
Now credited in bad debits,
Sitting in closed banks...
Issuing worthless I.O.U.s
On italic letterheads endorsed...
By a bankrupt federal government.
