Continue to Seek the Squeezing of Amusement

An absence of a definable consciousness,
Poses more of a threat...
Than suspected terrorists.

Especially to know that those who have obtained credentials,
With no evidence of common sense...
Are daily making decisions at 'our' expense.
And that is frightening to realize...
They have solicited and caused the decadence.
With a pride that is boasted,
And getting the attention relentlessly given to them.
Like someone who is 'roasted' but doesn't get the joke!

'Excuse me!
What was that Mister T? '

*I pity the fool.
I pity the fool.*

And we...
Yes you and me,
Continue to seek the squeezing of amusement from this.
As serious as our lives suspend on whimmed nonsense.
Existing on a brittle foundation.
And, in jeopardy.
As many laugh to find these observances 'cute'.
