Come To Me

Come to me...
Forget about what this isn't.
Or the time when passions sent,
Have eased from touches hot.
The firestorm of initial sizzle,
May have stopped.
But we've got so much that pleases,
Between us.

Come to me...
Remember this ecstasy has a new face.
Youthful embraces have slowed to an aged pace.
It is still you and I who are here to agree...
We have never regretted that hour we came to meet.
Our flame still flickers,
And the wick has withstood much heat!

Come to me...
No one else but us,
Can incite to ignite the glow
Of our shared embers!
Remember this...
And the seasons we have witnessed,
And come to hold!

Come to me...
And let us find the comfort in our love.
