Can't

To look back upon a trail blazed,
One may feel a sense of accomplishment.
It seems so much of an impossible journey,
Has been exposed.
In a re-invention meant.

Sometimes with eyes opened wide,
Through tears no longer one tries to hide.
These moments are remembered,
When eyes would deny fear.
Although shut tight.

But nothing,
Not even a single alibi...
Could prevent the incentive to move ahead.
Something in the mind instead...
Refused to define,
Can't.
