Can Without Question Be Easily Traced

Why the long faces,
Shown on those who won?
Didn't they set out to defeat,
And challenge that...
Which had begun.

Have they been stung,
By the reality...
They had wished to replace?
Or has it occurred to them,
What they did...
Now back to them,
Can without question be easily traced?

And now they know,
No excuses made will fade away...
Their blundering mistakes,
They were accustomed to fake...
To place on someone else's shoulders!
