Bestowing of a False Glow

Those of superficial minds,
Will find someway to maneuver themselves
Into a spotlight of some kind.
Even if it takes embellishment,
To get there to bask in a bestowing of a false glow!

Insecure with mediocre talent and so-so skills,
And quick to announce...
Their less than fantastic accomplishments.
Often leaving people to discover they've become amused.
Until they are confronted with their obvious lack of discipline!
