Before They Confiscate My Savings
They chose to follow the way of greed.
Now that beast limps,
And expresses a need...
I am encouraged to please!
'Where are you headed in such a rush? '
To the bank!
'Oh?
Seeking a second mortgage?
Or a loan? '
No.
Actually I am going there to offer them one.
Before they confiscate my savings.
The little I have left!
I don't want them laying another guilt trip on me,
About me being unpatriotic!
And I've already purchased my season tickets,
To Six Flags AND DisneyWorld.
'I understand.
I told my children their piggy banks were accidently broken.
They want to know what happened to the pennies?
I told them the tooth fairy needed them,
Because she was experiencing a shortage! '
