An Absence of a Felt Concern
The moment someone does something to another,
That offends...
A damage was done instantly.
And a hurting that begins,
Does not pretend!
Emotions are involved.
And when they are excused,
To leave the doer to say,
How sensitive and easily upset some get.
This is not like a crack in a sidewalk,
That can be repaired.
To give a fresh and new appearance.
As if no blemish ever had been there.
The moment someone does something to another,
That offends...
A consciousness of this should quickly end this,
To mend.
But the foolishness of ignorance makes known its presence.
Stretching a gap to widen in effectiveness.
Leaving a permanence.
And an absence of a felt concern.
