A Preference They Have Chosen

The absence of focus,
Of that which approaches others...
Leads them to paying consequences,
An undivided attention could avoid.

Many hurry themselves to conclusions,
To then exclaim...
No one is concerned or shows they do,
Regarding their wellbeing.

Yet the act of that shown to them,
Goes unnoticed...
When their minds are somewhere else.
And that is a preference they have chosen.
