A closer reach for me,
With you right there...
Leaves me,
More to savor.

Brings a taste,
I flavor.

And I know,

I can feel,
As if I'm not...
Asleep and dreaming,
With my head in the clouds...
To hear myself singing loudly.

A closer reach for me,

Awakening to taste home alone.
