I’m or Im-perfect IM?

P erfection is not always what it seems,
E quity protection active needs,
R esponsibility as tide recedes
F rom open options when coercive stream
E bbs from freedom’s tenets, to false scheme
C hurch led [whatever church or sect] that leads
T oo often to contention, strife that breeds
F urther strife despite ‘truth’ some say gleams.
A ttending 'church on Sunday' here speaks reams,
M uch dogma self defeats, resentment feeds.
I f 'Freedom' is at stake, awake! Who reads
L ife’s pressures on conforming to set themes
Y et seeks alternate avenues, fires dreams.
