Glimpse of Heaven 1365

Who catches glimpse of heaven drawing nigh
expectations entertains, cannot
live in half-light, cuts past's gordian knot
imprisonning soul's spirit, inner eye.
No compromises ever satisfy
expectations that reject shame's blot,
secondary lot where half forgot
convictions wither, fade, or atrophy.
Hesitation equals living lie
most men accept to ease their daily rot,
simplification, time-trap, once bolt's shot
try who will, few find wings which help fly.
Thus when two meet, their differences dissolve,
harmony Earth's mysteries may solve.
