Contrasts - 1512

Camouflage, contrasting colours merges,
avoiding garish splurges, here the urge is
survival of the fittest, leaving trace
on specimens most worthy future race.
But what of climate change, for then the scourge is
outside expected range, imprint diverges.
The moral seems that through life's petty pace
face up to challenge keeping touch with base.
