Contentment

Where Cupid wears no double face, -
beholder and beholden trace
together love in love's embrace
as each heart charts the other's pace.

No rush, no crush, no pride of place,
nor hide, nor free-ride commonplace,
as two take time to interface
outside of time in any case.

There’s chaste, no chaser and no chase,
there's no disgrace but only grace
and one shared chrysalid whose case
contentment spins as two enlace.
