Genenology

When I researched my family tree.
I found out that quite possibly
I should conceal my ancestry.
They were not as my mum believes
aristocrats but cattle thieves.
It’s odd how family pride perceives
their ancestors as respectable.
It makes them feel more comfortable
although it is a load of bull.
I’m not ashamed why should I be
because of my discovery
It makes no odds I am still me.
You will do well to bear in mind
you may not like what you will find.
