Eternal race is on
Bewildered night moves fast
Blinded he can't see morn
Time is wheeling best on
Night to meet the sun's cast

Grey streaks show slits of sky
Night now hears coos of birds
Smells scents of blossoms nigh
Tinged by dawning pink high
Magic twilight just herds
