Noisy Geese

As the pink dawn rose
Over the mud flats
A serenity unmached

The glassy surface
Becoming a mirrior

For the rising hills
Its solitary wavering

From the noisy conversation
Broken down silence
By the 'Geese'
Waking from the
Roosting night
Ruffled feathers
Setting flight.
