Resting Awhile

As I enter
this
chamber of
silence
resting,
renewing
my spirit.

Laying the
burdens o
life aside,
one by one
they fall
away.

I climb
the ladder
to a new
peace
of mind.

In this quest
my soul is
laid bare.
now I rest.
