Over The Years

dear friend.!
over the
years
I have felt
your arms
gently
wrapped
around my
heart

giving me
a sweet
squeeze
always
allowing
me
courage

today I
felt them
begin to
loosen
their
hold

the joy
of knowing
you
will
never
end

you are
taking a
portion
of my
heart
with you.
