Oh God I Prayed

The light
of
my life
began
to dim.

The candle
that
burned so
brightly.

Began
to
flicker.

My heart
slumped
in
despair.

Oh God!
I
prayed.

Don't let
this light
go out.

Keep this
candle
burning.
