Blossoms of Summer

The blossoms of
summer
once so young
and vibrant
beautiful flowers
of youth.

Fade quickly
one by one
gently dropping
their petals
floating to the
ground.

Painting picture
patterns of
yesterday
now just an image
lying somewhere in
the corners of my
mind.
