Machhu

Macchu’s devastation

Machhu is name and I am river
Now also people are scared and get fever
Cold chill wave is sent and they shiver
Machhu can send them out of gear

Whole world remembered my fury
Devastation made all over and caused worry
Thousands of villages just marooned and submerged
Nothing was left or likely to be emerged

Why my flow was blocked and arrested?
My patience was not endured and tested
It has amused me and caused embarrassment
Was that for protection without any assessment?

High mud embankments raised around
I was searching some loop holes to be found
Heavy rain in catchments area was round the corner
It was the time for my wish to be realised sonner

It rained heavily and I found my chance
Made heavy punches with water to dance
No one dared to control my furious anger
I was stepping out from controlled hunger

Gave no chance to think and recover
Causing flood and sweeping over
Destruction and havoc never known
Machhu became name renowned

River should be considered as mother
Nothing should obstruct or flow either
Let the water flow in its normal way
I will deliver good and have my say

note: -Machhu came to be known as death river
