Temples of Venus

O woman! How thy fingers worship thee!
these devout hands
tentatively placing daily offerings
of attentive bodily bread upon the rosy pink
thrones of milch dagoba flesh

anointing kisses of holy water
nightly supplication to those sensual deities
residing
in the sacred dome temples of your
supple life giving breasts
