Relaxation

Relax breathe at ease
let out a laugh
let all be calm
to panic there is no need

let all over anxious tension
melt away face all fear
seize the brand new day

let mind thought untangle
from emotions

Sink deep
immerse self in calming solvent
of inner space

let life flow free through the senses
no attachments let all fall into
proper place

remember poetry is a sacred occupation
a joy a gift a blessing a passion
don't let become obsessive obligation

Allow mind down time relax
recoup recline with ease

pay attention to bodily signals
indicating need for rest
no need to turn a thing of beauty
into a source of guilt and stress
