Poem to Sleep On
Antique celestial roses reveal
their secrets in the depth of night
revealing to fragile hearts their resilient souls
angels praying in the moonlight
lovers retreating from the cares of the day
silent hour populated with ears eyeballs and poetry
two hemispheres meeting halfway
a cup of black coffee shared on the dark side of the moon
dancing whistlers whirling in the naked wail of a comets tail
orb weavers spinning death's silken dreams beneath the Gothic
architecture of the clouds
love in a mist of budding baby blue eyes
morning dew sipped from the evening primrose
the sun flowering crown of yellow flame
lonesome reminders, letters of lost love
outside light cast upon dusty window sills
prisoner of changing circumstance chasing chemical patterns
always seeking pardon, always seeking a chance to escape
everything encapsulated within the great bubble
of nothingness
all sound emitting from the shared source of silence
all existence sings stirs rattles hums hushes soothes
in the ears of the newborn, angels appear to gods children,
at any age, to teach wisdom lessons throughout life, often and early.
Gears slowing their grind, calm settles in for the night
all is still, the overstimulated day approaches a halt
true meaning of life reveals full naked splendor
the moment time stops, soul mates finding heart
comfort zones in one another, entering a mystic realm
of angels and guides, self created clues signals and signs
to journey is to struggle, is to remember life's purpose
voices offer such soft words of reassurance
long lost dreams from the night before, never to be remembered
the passive charm of the moon and stars, astral electricity cast upon the earth
mystic otherworldly pheromones flowing super fluid glowing light
new moon ballet riveting breeze trance inducing rhythm of the candle
the feminine earth casts such lovely haunting shadows, as Ishtar dances,
illuminated in the glassy dampness, slow close of an eyelash,
moment of cosmic concrescence,
freeing of immortal conscious essence,
swift movement captured in a mirror mocking human history
an enhanced awareness opening upon the brink?
Crest of a cosmic event, a coming singularity?
Creation a complex net of inter-connectivity accelerated by the universes need for novelty?
What changes await tomorrow?
- Good night...
my love
sweet dreams
