When we meet again

Even the sun
that used to smile for me
has begun to go frail
and as the season run on
into its skeleton stripped
time of rest
I am gripped with the fear
that this winter
we will separate
and go different ways.

Yet somehow I hope to see
the tender smile on your face
that has the capacity
to make my heart race
and to embrace you again
when we meet again.
