Love Does Not Keep To Seasons

Love does not keep to seasons,
is not caught by days, by months or by time
and where it really is true
not even death can lock it down.

Even when age wrecks features,
when money dwindles away,
love has the capacity
to still stay true,

still sees through the eyes
that in youth found beauty and sincerity
has a link to the divine,
and in all of this I want you to be mine.
