Why Is It?

why is it...
patriots dont smell like freedom?
Christians dont act like Christ?
lovers dont give like love?
and dead people need you to weep?

a free country doesnt allow freedom?
poverty doesnt justify?
great men forget about small men?
and you've forgotten my name?

why is it?
and why do i care?
