Old Dog, For Jackson
old dog, old dog,
we've walked too far
on this journey
for either of us
to go home alone...
you know my secrets,
and i know yours...
and we've both pissed
on the boundaries
of lives well lived.
strong and faithful,
now old and blind...
through the darkness
past the light...
to beginning and end!
