Now And Forever

turning leaves,
dusk skies; moonlight
weaving through shadows

and the dew...
the earth gasps,
turns, and tremors...

the trees bow and pray
one final prayer...
and all that is...

all that we've come to know...
moondust in a thimble,
dust on a cat's whisker....

turning leaves...
amid the whispers
of now and forever...
