Fire

feeding the flames!
pictures, awards, titles, deeds...
love letters written in blood,
bed sheets stained by passion.
medals won, cars, and scars...
houses built by calloused hands,
graves dug by the same hands!
eulogies written in small town papers...

all thrown into the fire...
feed the flames!
