What You See

What you see
isn't me.
For you can't see inside.
Inside lies
my inner cries
that I don't ever
allow outside.
Why should others
feel my pain?
Let the shadows
just remain.
Put on my happy face.
Let it erase
even for a while.
See my face.
See my smile.
That's the side
you will see.
But, deep inside
it's not me.
