Unappreciated

She was his toy, his plaything
to be put away when done.
And she, the fool accepted it
and accepted all the fun.
But at some point the fun she'd had
became a source of pain.
And like a doll that breaks into pieces
and is never played with again,
She stared at him with glassy eyes
wondering what he would do?
He simply left in search of another
and she realized she was through.
