The Robin

Where is the robin?
Where is the spring?
Show me your sweet red breast
that surely will bring
the warmth, the warmth.
I need to feel the warmth.

Let me see that worm pulled
from beneath the ground.
Listen with your cocked head.
See what you have found.

Hope springs eternal
for spring is on its way.
Mr. Robin Red Breast
I know you've come to say
Springtime is here.
