The Ageing Process

When you're a child
you wish to age.
When you're a teen
you reach a stage
where you think you know
what life's about.
When you're an adult
you still have doubt.
When you reach middle age
you start looking back.
You wonder what you missed,
what you lack?
When you're older
you finally realize
whatever you missed
was right before your eyes.
