Stretch
Stretch in the morning
when you open your eyes.
Stretch those muscles
before you arise.
Be like the cat
or dog you see
who won't make a move
til its muscles are free.
Stretch out your life.
Don't move so fast.
Move a little slower
to make it last.
Be like the cat
that has nine lives.
Fall gently.
That's how one survives
