Poet To Non-believer

A poet can make you believe in love.
A non-believer can't.
A poet can make your spirits soar.
A non-believer can't.
For a poet's power with a word
is like the wings of a bird.
But a non-believer who can't see ahead
is like the wings of a bird that's dead.
