Don't Shut Me Out
Don't shut me out
dear heart of mine.
For if you do
you'll hear me whine
and cry aloud
in sadness cold.
For a hardened heart
can make you old.
Don't shut me out
because he's gone.
Let me in.
Let the beat go on.
Give me a chance
to love anew.
Dear heart, I beg
for I'm so blue.
