Do You Miss Me?
Do you miss me like I miss you
or has absence taken its toll?
I cannot think straight anymore,
I don't seem to be whole.
Half of me has gone to I don't know where,
I guess wherever you are.
The other half stays behind and waits
to glimpse a falling star.
It's then I'll make a wish for you
that will help my heart keep still,
instead of throbbing and weeping
and causing me to feel ill.
I know I must go on my love.
I've got no other choice.
At times when I'm lonely and missing you
I use my silent voice
And ask myself. Do you miss me?
Miss me like I miss you?
The question is a torment
for the answer can't get through.
