Change Of Heart

She started out kind
and she smiled at everyone.
She waited for them to smile back
and warm her like the sun.

But everyone just passed her by
so the clouds came in and made her cry.
She thought'Hey world why can't you see
that everyday's the same for me? '

She never smiled anymore.
She kept it hidden. Her heart was sore.
And everyone that passed her by
couldn't understand now just why
they never saw her smile?
