Can't I?

Can't I,
can't I think about
all the words I'd love to shout?
Must I,
must I just think about
all of the words I want to shout?

I can't,
I can't think about
all of the things I'd love to shout.
I must not.
I must not think about
all of the words I want to shout

For to speak aloud
these thoughts and words
would frighten and shake the sleeping herds.
And so I must keep still
and climb the lonely silent hill
alone.
