Ambivilancy

Oh to be imprisoned within a cage
and not allowed to fly
brings to me melancholy
that makes me want to die.

For death brings freedom of its own
and flight is taken with ease.
Shall you open this cage and set me free
or keep it locked with keys?

My escape from you is impossible
and so you will discover
that even though I look for escape,
my heart's the perfect lover.

No jailor is there anywhere
as you have been with me.
So my flight is fanciful thinking
for I do not wish to be free.
